The Washington Post’s staff just went on strike for a day. Roughly 750 of their workers participated.

Will Sommer wants you to avoid visiting WaPo today to support their strike.
I’m walking off the job with hundreds of my WaPo colleagues because the company is breaking the law and bargaining in bad faith. Respect our picket line during our 24-hour strike by avoiding WaPo journalism today, send a letter to our bosses here: https://t.co/keUV5LDNNc

Well, that just means I’m going to visit WaPo even though I usually avoid the shit blog site like the plague. I just clicked on several WaPo articles to spite these faggots.
I’m honestly not sure why they thought this strike was a good idea though. They are just proving how unnecessary they are. The WaPo website is currently operational and there is new content on it today. You wouldn’t know that they are in the midst of a labor dispute based on what’s been posted. It just looks like business as usual.
The whole situation is dumb. AI is going to replace the vast majority of these media/propaganda jobs over the next decade or so any way. Strikes like this are only going to accelerate that process.
