The problems keep mounting for Boeing and I would expect them to continue to mount. This is an organization that used to be run by competent engineers dedicated to putting out safe and reliable products. It has morphed into a company that is more focused on hiring individuals not because of their skill or competence but because of their skin color. This is why the quality of their products has plunged and we see a surge in safety problems with Boeing aircraft. It is also why we see shortcuts like this being taken.
