There’s all sorts of people on social media whining about how the Boy Scouts are going “woke” etc.. with this name change.
The thing is, this organization went off the rails a very long time ago. They began openly allowing homosexuals into it around a decade ago. Even before that, the organization always attracted closeted homosexual men who sought sexual access to young boys.
The Boy Scouts recently had to file bankruptcy after over 80,000 men said they were sexually abused as children by troop leaders while in The Boy Scouts. The sexual abuse occurred over many decades worth of time. The courts ruled that The Boy Scouts were liable for around $2.4 billion in damages suffered which prompted the bankruptcy filing.
Weirdly enough, the founder of The Boy Scouts Robert Baden-Powell wrote a book that was titled “Scouting for Boys.” The title itself is gay and has a variety of homosexual connotations.
I don’t have proof that Baden-Powell was a homosexual, but if I didn’t want people thinking I was a homosexual or some sort of kiddie fiddler I wouldn’t have written a book with such a title. That’s on him. The fact that the organization he founded later became infested with homosexuals doesn’t help his legacy much either.
