James Carville the Democrat operative who helped get Bill Clinton elected back in the 1990s has one of the most retarded theories about Donald Trump I’ve seen yet. He is literally claiming that Trump was conspiring to sell the documents that were seized by the FBI at his Mar-A-Lago home. He’s also claiming that the Jew Merrick Garland has some sort of genius master plan and that the raid on Trump is just the start of that genius master plan.
Democratic strategist James Carville has a message for people who are doubting Merrick Garland: Just wait.
“People are like, well, but let’s wait and see a little bit. And this is like the top of the first inning. I mean, remember Merrick Garland is like a pit viper. He prosecuted the Oklahoma City bomber case, the Unabomber case, the Olympic bomber case. And I think these guys are really methodical,” Carville says on this episode of The New Abnormal politics podcast.
Even if he didn’t have faith in Garland, Trump and the MAGA Republicans are not doing themselves any favors, Carville says.
“Their defenses are just literally absurd. I mean, absurd. Like ‘he can declassify anything he wants,’ says Carville. Plus, “you ask ‘Why did Trump want all these documents?’ And the answer is the most logical reason: He was gonna sell them.”
First off, it is not absurd to state that the President of the United States has ultimate declassification authority. If the President of the United States does not have this authority, than who does? The Easter Bunny? Santa Claus? Adolf Hitler?
Secondly, the idea that a billionaire like Trump would plan to sell these documents is ridiculous. He doesn’t need the money. He also chose to give up a great life to run for the presidency and deal with endless amounts of bullshit that he otherwise would not have had to deal with. He never did any of this for money. So the idea that he would have taken these documents with a secret plan to sell them is insane. It’s about as dumb as when the Democrats kept claiming with no evidence he was an asset of Russia and Vladimir Putin. All because he didn’t want a war with Russia.
It’s really quite crazy to see how there is so much attention on Trump even though he is no longer in power. I think part of the reason why we are seeing this turn into a Russiagate 2.0 situation, is that the regime’s overseas projects have been a monumental disaster. We all saw what happened in Afghanistan and what’s been unfolding in the Ukraine. They’re rapidly losing power and influence around the world, so they’re redirecting their energies domestically.
This raid on Trump appears to be a major part of this. I would expect to see lots of media attention on this story for awhile.
