They are using his death to spread more fear porn about the coronavirus even though it is entirely unwarranted. The man died of a heart attack, not the coronavirus itself.

The New York Post also covered the story more honestly than others.
It is true that the flu in some cases can increase the chances of somebody getting a heart attack, but it is rare occurrence especially for somebody in their 40s.
There is no reason to say that he died from the coronavirus unless you were trying to make people afraid for nefarious reasons. The coronavirus has a survivability rate no different than the flu when you disregard the inflated death statistics. There is also no notable change in the aggregate number of deaths we saw in 2020 from previous years.
