Zelensky is saying that he’s planning a purge of top government leaders.

RT:

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is planning a “serious” overhaul of his leadership team, he told Italy’s RAI TG1 news channel, when asked about a reported plan to fire military commander General Valery Zaluzhny.

Tensions between the Ukrainian president and his top general have grown since last year, with numerous reports over the past week suggesting Zaluzhny would soon be relieved of his post. In the interview published on Sunday, Zelensky addressed the rumors for the first time.

“When we talk about this, I mean a replacement of a series of state leaders, not just in a single sector like the military. I’m thinking about this replacement, but you can’t say ‘here we replaced a single person’,” he explained. “If we want to win, we must all push in the same direction, convinced of victory.”

He says this as he’s putting out videos claiming to be on the front lines inside of a tent. In this video it looks as if he’s in front of a green screen and not inside a tent.

He has apparently tried but failed to get rid of his top general Zaluzhny and there is a chance that Zaluzhny could do a coup against Zelensky. Him saying that he’s going to sack more people probably increases the chances of a coup but it is hard to say for sure. The situation remains very chaotic and there’s no telling what may or may not happen.
