The Toronto Stock Exchange went offline today for a period of time forcing a halt of all trading.

We have all these highly complicated technical systems to run things and an increasingly less capable group of people managing and maintaining these complicated technical systems.
The end result of all this is not going to be good. Situations like this just show how there are serious cracks in the foundation being formed.
