Seymour Hersh is Jewish so I am not a fan of his, but it is notable that he has written a Substack piece saying that the United States government blew up the Nord Stream pipes. His piece cites a source familiar with the actual logistics of the operation. The source claims that US Navy divers planted explosives on the pipes under the cover of NATO exercises.

Norway was reportedly involved in the operation as well.

His piece fingers Jake Sullivan along with the Jews Victoria Nuland and Antony Blinken as the major players involved in greenlighting the operation.
Hersh is being attacked for his report which provides all sorts of specifics and details about the operation.
Bottom line: when Seymour Hersh reports on security state malfeasance by Republicans, like Nixon or Bush, his sourcing/methods are vigorously defended by respectable mainstream opinion. The White House which lies about everything is claiming that it is a work of fiction.

This means that Hersh’s report is at minimum more true than false.
It was previously speculated that the British were involved with the operation, but it definitely makes sense that Norway would have been involved as well.
Either way, it was clear from the start that this was an operation greenlit by the United States. Joe Biden was publicly rambling about ending the pipes before they got blown up. Nuland did the same and was just recently boasting about their destruction.
We didn’t need this piece from Hersh or anybody else to know about all of this, but the specifics laid out by Hersh’s source on how the pipes were blown up is interesting.
