The average price for a gallon of regular gas in California is almost $6 and this news certainly isn’t going to help matters. Workers at a San Francisco area oil refinery went on strike earlier this week.
More than 500 workers at a Chevron Corp. refinery in the San Francisco Bay area have told the company they will go on strike at 12:01 a.m. Monday. A strike could push gas prices even higher in California, where the average gallon is over $5.84. https://t.co/kuKX4wWfBm

If the strike shuts down the refinery, it could crimp gas supplies in the state with the highest prices in the U.S. https://t.co/SWKFpyAXQt

The price of gas is going to keep going up because of inflation and all the other weird bullshit the federal government is doing. Disruptions like this certainly don’t help.
My guess is that we’ll see $10 for a gallon of gas in California first as all this plays out. I honestly have no idea how the average person can live in the state. Especially with these out of control gas prices.
