They’re taking the cowards way out and are going to fire people virtually over Zoom calls or whatever.

Yeah, so I guess remote work was discouraged until it came to mass firings. In such a situation, they force people to work from home.
Either way, this is another sign of a collapsing economy. The crazy thing is that the average person seems oblivious to all the problems that are going on.
