This is such a dumb story.
The Chinese have satellites. They did not need to use a balloon to collect data.
Even if we assume the balloon did collect data, the information it collected would not be any more valuable than information they already have via their satellite network.
NBC is just hyping this to get Americans riled up against China because the Jews need an excuse to do war against them.
