He was also involved in all sorts of other censorship activities under the prior regime.
The circumstances of his departure are not yet known. Hopefully Elon fired him. For some reason Elon was retweeting him and even said that he thought he was a trustworthy person. Not exactly sure what was going on with all that, but Roth leaving is objectively a good thing regardless of the situation involved.

There’s all sorts of morons on Twitter claiming that Roth was one of the last voices of reason inside the company. They are saying this because he was one of the last remaining people from the old regime that supported all the censorship etc..
We’ll just have to see what happens with Twitter from here but Roth’s departure is a definite positive. Now we just need a general amnesty for accounts unfairly banned by the prior regime and policies that support free speech. Everybody on that list that the Anti-Defamation League Jew terrorists demanded be banned for life should immediately have their accounts reinstated.
