The European Union is debating putting a price cap on gas. Specifically a price cap on Russian gas.
🇪🇺EU ministers are trying to tackle the rising cost of energy bills, as gas and electricity prices have skyrocketed in the past year.
But a proposed price cap on Russian gas appears to divide the Union.#EuropeDecoded https://t.co/p0RQy1sq05

If they put a price cap on gas, that’s only going to mean that nobody is going to sell them any gas.
Speaking in Vladivostok, Putin reacted with anger toward the news that the EU might put a price cap on Russia oil and gas.
He said that if that happens, Russia could completely stop delivering oil, gas and coal to the EU. pic.twitter.com/2g6lNZSkvm

Imagine if you told a gas station that you’d only buy gas from them for 5 cents a gallon. You wouldn’t find a single gas station willing to sell you gas. The same concept applies here. It’s retarded that they are even having serious discussions about this.
