Climate change is a hoax. There is no proof that fossil fuel emissions are warming the planet or causing catastrophic weather changes. It is an invented excuse to push all sorts of totalitarian measures around the world. The fact that they are citing it as an excuse to shut down the crypto space is proof of this.
You could easily say the same thing about the US dollar because of all the computers and systems that are used to maintain the dollar system. So what we are seeing is just another case of fake and selective outrage.
They see cryptocurrencies as a threat to the established monetary order and want them gone. That’s what this is about.
