The US military is preparing to boost its “defense posture” in the Persian Gulf, with officials claiming that the Pentagon will deploy additional assets to the region to patrol commercial shipping lanes and ‘protect private vessels’ from Iran.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby announced the move on Friday, telling reporters the Defense Department “will be making a series of moves to bolster our defensive posture in the Arabian Gulf,” using an alternative name for the Persian Gulf.
US officials claim that Tehran has attacked or harassed 15 foreign-flagged vessels in the region over the last two years, calling the actions “destabilizing.”
In the space of just one week between late April and early May, the Islamic Republic seized two oil tankers registered in Panama and the Marshall Islands, drawing condemnation from the US Navy.
The lies from these people is just astounding. Iran has no ability to attack the US but they claim that they have to send war ships into the Iranians backyard for defensive reasons. No honest person believes this is defensive. This is just another example of the ZOG regime trying to provoke conflict anywhere they can around the world.
The problem the ZOG people have is that the Middle East has changed drastically in recent times. China’s peace deal between the Saudis and the Iranians along with Syria being brought back into the Arab League are both significant changes. It shows that China has more power and leverage in the region. The US is no longer feared or taken seriously.
They are saying this whole thing is about protecting ships and trade but the US has been engaging in all sorts of weird chicanery in the area for years. Remember when Mike Pompeo hoaxed that attack on a Japanese ship and blamed Iran while Japan’s prime minister Shinzo Abe was visiting Tehran?
