Back in the 1980s and into the early 1990s, we were told that we were all going to die because of a hole expanding in the ozone layer. I was literally told by one of my elementary school teachers that by 1997 we’d all have to wear spacesuits to go to the beach. All because of this big hole in the sky that would allow the sun’s radiation to come through and fry our skin. That dumb bitch was a liar and I hope she is dead and rotting in hell for telling such falsehoods to young children.
They’re now telling us that the hole has shrank and that it is no longer a concern.

It was never a problem to begin with. Whole thing was a hoax that they used to push for bans on chemicals and aerosols that they claimed with no evidence was causing the ozone hole. It’s just laughable that the usual suspects are taking credit for solving this non-existent fake problem with their stupid policies.
The hole in the ozone layer actually appeared to be part of a naturally occurring phenomenon that was never any threat to the planet. It was in many ways a precursor to the much more extreme climate change bullshit that we have seen pushed in the years that followed.
Old hoaxes never die.
