British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is under fire after making it obvious that he doesn’t understand the virus lockdown orders that he signed off on.
I can understand why he doesn’t understand them, because none of his lockdown orders make any sense. But despite that, you can face punishment for not following these bizarre and incomprehensible orders. Just look at his tweets where he tries to clarify the rules. It’s outright gibberish.

In the North East, new rules mean you cannot meet people from different households in social settings indoors, including in pubs, restaurants and your home. You should also avoid socialising with other households outside. (1/2)

So you can meet people in public social settings so long as they are a part of your household. But pretty much any public place you go will have people there who are not part of your household. I guess that’s the gist, but none of it is clear. Whatever the gist is, none of it is enforceable. It’s pure insanity.
The fact that Boris is going along with all this lunacy shows that he is compromised in some capacity. Because any sane person could just point to Sweden and say there is no reason to impose restrictions or enforce weird lockdowns. Sweden did not do a lockdown and we did not see an apocalypse unfold. So there is no reason for any of these bizarre rules and restrictions to be enforced anywhere in the world. The coronavirus is literally no more dangerous than the flu.
Whatever the case, this is just more evidence that we are living in a bizarre dystopia and the ride is just getting started.
