The Jewish paper of record put out a report digging into what happened on October 7th and why the Israeli military got their asses handed to them by Hamas fighters with their surprise attack. They said that they were undermanned and poorly organized. The report described their response as generally incompetent. This is a surprisingly accurate take for a Jewish media operation which has been increasingly critical of Israel in recent weeks.

The popular theory is that the Jews allowed the attacks to happen so they could justify doing a genocide in Gaza.

I’m sure there were elements of people inside of Israel that knew something was about to happen. Even the Egyptians tried to warn them of an event only for their warnings to be dismissed. There were also some suspicious stock trades before the event that raised questions about some having foreknowledge.

This doesn’t automatically mean that there was some grand conspiracy behind all of this. Benjamin Netanyahu’s entire political brand was based off of him being a big security guy. This security failure has been a disaster for his political brand and has forced him into doing what he is doing now. It has put the entire Zionist enterprise at great risk.

If Bibi greenlit this entire thing as a deliberate plan than he’s a moron and I don’t think Bibi is a moron. He’s been able to stay at the top of Israeli politics for decades and you don’t do this by being stupid.

It is reasonable enough to assume that the Jews were largely caught off guard even if some people inside of Israel knew what was coming. This is something that happens all the time in large organizations. People at various levels see a disaster coming and when they try to warn people up the management chain, their warnings are dismissed or set aside for “reasons” often times dealing with politics etc..

At this point, the specifics of this event are mostly irrelevant. How the Jews reacted to this is all that matters and they have put themselves in a position where the entire world hates them as they face a multifront war. Everything they have done in response to this has been strategically stupid.
