NATO is claiming that 40,000 Russian soldiers have been killed, wounded or captured in Ukraine.
A senior NATO military officer says NATO estimates that Russia has suffered between 30,000 & 40,000 battlefield casualties in Ukraine through the first month of the war, including between 7,000 and 15,000 killed. It is NATO’s first public estimate of Russian casualties (AP).

People actually think Russia is losing in Ukraine and they are using this bullshit to reinforce their false views.
Russia is getting their ass handed to them in Ukraine.https://t.co/rh83zBTTuD

The 40,000 number claim is really the most absurd claim imaginable.
To give that number some perspective, close to 60,000 American soldiers were believed to have been killed during the entirety of the Vietnam War which spanned multiple decades.
#NATO claiming Russia has lost 40,000 troops in one month!
That’s 4/5th of what the US lost in Vietnam in 20 years. I’ve seen about ten dead Russian soldiers in footage.
As propaganda goes, this is barely 3rd rate. Laughable.

It is not remotely believable to think that Russia lost 40,000 soldiers in around a month’s worth of time. Especially considering that Ukraine’s military has achieved no significant battlefield victories. If any major victories actually took place, it would be a featured part of the propaganda that is being fed to the plebs. The fact of the matter is that much of Ukraine’s military capabilities was destroyed in the first few days of Russia’s defensive operations.
The lies surrounding this conflict just keep getting crazier and crazier.
