Bibi was in political trouble before the Hamas attacks of October 7th and one could easily argue that his political standing is far worse now. There are many Jews inside of Israel who want him to resign and personally believe that he was responsible for the security failure.

It is hard to see how his political career can survive this. He is hated by people across the entire political spectrum of Israeli politics.
It is also hard to see how Israel will be able to survive this. Netanyahu has created a public relations disaster for Israel with what has been going on in Gaza. What come next is anybody’s best guess, but it is hard to be optimistic about the future. It feels like we are just slowly easing into an undeclared third world war.
