The Chinese government is very serious about maintaining this zero COVID lockdown on the people of Shanghai. There were reports that they were going to relax the lockdown, but that has not come to fruition. New video continues to come out showing the draconian methods they are using to enforce this insanity.

This is becoming an increasingly bad look for the Chinese government. If the goal was to use the fake pandemic as an excuse to wage economic war on the West, there were a million different ways they could have done it. There was no reason for them to be this brutal about it.
It’s also worth noting that the lockdowns are being enforced in multiple locations. Shanghai just happens to be the most notable.
These lockdowns are obviously causing issues with the supply chain and this is being noted increasingly by members of the global media.

COVID-19 lockdowns imposed in Shanghai as well as in key manufacturing hubs & agricultural provinces in China could aggravate supply chain disruptions, cause food shortages, raise the price of agricultural products & restrict global manufacturing trade. #AfricasPulse pic.twitter.com/1AU7iLWDWZ
