Energy shortages are spreading throughout the European Union. Even Hungary who has adopted a politically friendly stance towards Russia is not being spared. There are reports of looming gasoline shortages.

Hungarian gas and oil giant MOL will only be able to deliver 25 percent of the needed fuel from 19 September, Hungarian media reported.

At least Hungary with Viktor Orban has a leader who is trying to represent their interests. He’s been calling a spade a spade on the energy issue.

This is undoubtedly why the European Union has chosen to punish Hungary.
Either way, what we are seeing a now is just a precursor to much more pain throughout Europe. This winter is going to be bad.
