We have yet to see the full impact of the year long economic lockdowns because the government implemented an eviction moratorium and dumped gazillions of dollars into the economy. Well, this short lived party is coming to an end. The collapse is going to become much more apparent to people very soon.

Nancy Pelosi decided that the House would go on a six-week vacation without extending the eviction moratorium that expires today.

Do you know what this means? It means that people are going to die.

I greatly dislike that black bitch Cori Bush but she is right about the fact that the eviction moratorium expiring is going to mean a variety of negative consequences. People are most certainly going to die but their death will be from the lockdowns that people like herself supported. This moratorium just delayed people getting kicked out of their homes and made the collapse less visible. What she is doing is just political theater.

We would have been better off without a moratorium which is why one was put into place. It allowed the politicians to tell the peasants that they were helping them even though they destroyed the economy with their lockdowns while simultaneously putting small landlords out of business.

If you as a landlord can’t collect rent from non-paying tenants because of the moratorium, they can’t pay your mortgage, pay property taxes and pay for regular building maintenance. If they had the ability to kick people out right away, they would have been in a better position because they could at least potentially find new renters.

The economy is an absolute dumpster fire and it’s going to become more and more apparent to the average person very soon. Expect to see a dramatic increase in homeless encampments throughout the country over the next few months.
