A secret audio recording of Arizona GOP Chair Jeff DeWit trying to bribe Kari Lake not to run for the United States Senate has been made public. The audio basically features Lake telling DeWit to pound sand. She tells him that she can’t be bought for any amount of money, any job position etc.. and that she was not going to end her Senate campaign under any circumstance. She also said that the only way she could be stopped is if someone kills her. DeWit resigned shortly after the audio was published and effectively proved its authenticity. He comically claimed that the audio was taken out of context and feared that Lake might be in possession of even more damaging audio recordings.

DeWit sounds like the scummiest weasel in this clip. I felt like I was listening to a bad used car salesman. He literally told Lake that she should feel honored about them offering her a bribe.

Just look at this fucking clown.

I’m not a big fan of Lake but I respect the fact that she said she is willing to die for what she believes in. I feel the exact same way about what I do with this website.

DeWit was basically acting on behalf of people in Washington DC and serving as a sort of middleman. The conversation is interesting because it reveals the type of behind the scenes conversations that regularly happen inside of America’s corrupt political system. It’s basically just a bunch of people making all sorts of corrupt deals with one another for their own personal gain. DeWit admits in the recording that DC is a club of backscratchers. They’re concerned that Lake would not participate in the backscratching which is why they asked him to bribe her.

This is why the American people are constantly fucked over. Most of the people who rise to prominence in this political system end up taking the types of bribes that Lake was offered. These people literally trade their soul for money.
