That’s a fairly significant number and it shows once again that these legacy media operations are running into more and more problems. This story comes out at the same time that The New York Times is dealing with a union strike of over 1,000 workers.
As I’ve said in other articles, these operations require tremendous overhead and with the crumbling economy, we are seeing these operations start to falter. It is expensive to produce fake news and these brands from a trust standpoint are at an all-time low among Americans.
I mean, how many hoaxes has WaPo supported and validated? It’s literally endless. It’s no wonder why they are losing subscribers in such large numbers.
