The United States military has said that they just shot down a high-altitude object about the size of a small car over Alaska.

They’ll likely blame this on Russia or China. Most likely they’ll blame it on China since they are trying to shift the public’s attention away from their failure in the Ukraine. The China spy balloon hoax proved that this is the direction they are taking things.
Of course, we don’t even know they shot down anything. The whole thing could be a hoax. They’ve offered no evidence that anything was shot down. This is just them saying that these things happened.
These people have lost all credibility. There is no reason to trust them. You have to assume that everything they say is a lie unless proven otherwise.
