The United States is continuing its aggressive foreign policy against China. Just recently, the US government demanded that China close their consulate in Houston, Texas. Needless to say, the Chinese were not happy with this.
We strongly condemn and firmly oppose the abrupt demand for closure of Chinese Consulate-General in Houston. This is a political provocation. We urge the US to immediately revoke this erroneous decision. Otherwise, China will have to respond with legitimate and necessary actions. pic.twitter.com/XGZr1tXtzp

Allegedly the consulate was used for spying and that was the reason they gave for the demand. As if the United States doesn’t have spies all over China.
The State Department was also heavily involved in financing violent mobs and terrorists in Hong Kong which was an obvious attempt to undermine the Chinese.
Fat Mike has also been on a Twitter rampage bashing China.
The only way to truly change Communist China is to act on the basis of what its leaders do, not what they say. President Reagan dealt with the Soviets on the basis of “trust but verify.” When it comes to the CCP, I say, “Distrust and verify.” pic.twitter.com/5MHDSkCkcN

The United States' policy is crystal clear: The South China Sea is not China’s maritime empire. If Beijing violates international law and free nations do nothing, history shows the CCP will simply take more territory. China Sea disputes must be resolved through international law. pic.twitter.com/H6IXWdxVA9

Dialogue-at-all-costs diplomacy does not work—it never has, and it never will. The CCP's unilateral aggression, intellectual property thievery, and broken promises on their actions in the South China Sea prove that. https://t.co/4Wej4AU9Wd.

All of this is insane. Why not focus in on negotiating trade with China instead of provoking them? The United States is not in a good position right now. The American economy is in shambles over this virus hoax whereas China did not suffer the same amount of economic damage. Their country for the most part kept running throughout this insane situation.
Even though Donald Trump has been trying to bring back manufacturing to the United States, China still makes many of the things that we need. It is not smart to provoke them like this unless this is all about fanning the flames of war.
It’s a historical fact that when countries face total economic ruin, their governments look for excuses to wage war. The stage is being set for that.
