PayPal has enacted a new policy claiming that they have the right to steal $2,500 from anybody who they believe is spreading “misinformation.”
New PayPal policy allows them to deduct $2,500 from your account per “incident”…
“Among the changes are prohibitions on “the sending, posting, or publication of any messages, content, or materials” that “promote misinformation”…$2,500 per meme they don’t like.#boycottpaypal pic.twitter.com/6GcLZWdc6G

So basically, if you say anything that PayPal disagrees with, they are saying that they can just take money from you. That’s literally what this policy says. That they can engage in outright theft.
I don’t know why anybody would do any sort of serious business with PayPal if they do not revoke this policy. Even if they do revoke it, I would not want to do any sort of serious business with them. These policies have to go through an extensive review process before they go public. It isn’t like this was just thrown up without any thought or consideration. There are obviously people within this organization who thought this was a very great idea.
PayPal has sucked for a very long time so I’m not remotely surprised by this development. These dickbags banned me from their service back around 2015 because they apparently had some issues with my very truthful and accurate content.
