The state of the power grid in the United States is not good. In fact, it is pretty horrible. Several places around the country have lost power and there have been rolling blackouts in some areas because of colder than usual weather. Many are going to be without power during Christmas.
Some power outage reports as of 10 a.m. EST:
• North Carolina – 163,000 outages
• Texas – 78,000
• South Carolina – 74,000
• Georgia – 59,000
• Connecticut – 97,000
• Ohio and Pennsylvania – 58,000Winter storm LIVE blog: https://t.co/SNTPNvjsEf

As extreme temps drive unusually high energy demand across the Carolinas we have begun short, temporary power outages. These emergency outages are necessary to protect the energy grid against longer, more widespread outages. We appreciate your patience. https://t.co/qwy23w94vc pic.twitter.com/imkI2JQba4

In Nashville, the government is urging citizens to reduce power usage, not use large appliances, and turn down thermostats to avoid more rolling blackouts in the city.
These advisories, of course, don’t apply to Titans Stadium & Broadway in downtown Nashville. Just the peasants. pic.twitter.com/4QesCPrdeq

I feel like the rolling blackouts across Tennessee in zero degree weather two days before Christmas deserves some more news coverage.

America’s power infrastructure is a joke. Why the hell does some colder than usual winter weather result in this type of mayhem? There’s obviously been no sort of proactive measures put into place to deal with what is nothing more than a slightly abnormal situation.
If the power grid can’t even stay up because of some winter weather, does anybody actually think it can handle an onslaught of electric vehicles? Why would anybody even think that EVs are viable in this environment?
If the country wasn’t so obsessed with sending gazillions of dollars over to the Ukraine for satanic Jewish gay anal sex orgies, maybe we could invest some money into bolstering the power grid here in America. I mean, I know that sounds crazy, but I think that might be a good idea.
I totally understand that satanic Jewish gay anal sex orgies in the Ukraine are very important to the faggot assholes in Washington DC, but there are other important priorities they might want to consider dealing with. It doesn’t have to be all about Jews, homosexual cocksuckers and trannies 24/7.
This is just some third world type shit here. It makes me wish I were a Russian.
