The Jews are clamoring for a deal to buy them time. Their military efforts in Gaza have been a disaster. They need a deal to regroup considering how badly they are getting destroyed in Gaza not to mention the problems they are having up north with Hezbollah.
If I were the Hamas people I would tell the Jews to pound sand with any deal.
