I’m sure they want to flood out Hamas tunnels, but it appears as if the Jews are mostly interested in making large parts of this land uninhabitable. It is a literal “salt the earth” type of strategy they are employing.
This is an obvious war crime but Israel has already committed so many war crimes, it really doesn’t make any difference how many more crimes they commit. They’re just going to keep doing these evil things until they are made to stop. That is the situation.
