There’s more tough war talk coming from the Israelis. The Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant just said that Beirut could end up like Gaza.

These comments come as Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah delivered another speech. I did not watch it, but this Iran Observer account that follows this stuff more closely posted a summary of his key points.

His speech didn’t appear to be especially noteworthy. It sounds like it was just a continuation of the status-quo. He did not announce an escalation.

Nasrallah is however correct in his assessment of the Jews not achieving any significant military victory. They’ve only been successful at slaughtering innocent people.

Hamas has said that they’ve destroyed over 160 Israeli military vehicles.

It sounds like Hamas is giving the Israelis some real problems.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah forces have been striking Israeli towers near the border which are key observation points.

The more of these towers they destroy the easier a Hezbollah ground invasion would be. They could be shaping the battlefield for a future invasion.

I think it is really foolish of Israel to threaten a bombing campaign of Beirut. They’re having enough problems with Hamas and Hezbollah is a much more powerful military force. They should be doing everything they can to avoid this escalation but I guess they think they can do whatever they want with the backing they have from ZOG-America.
