Meanwhile the German government is accusing Russia of attacking them economically while they send weapons into the Ukraine for the purposes of killing Russian soldiers.

These policies are not sustainable. There are already an increasing number of revolts against European governments over these anti-Russia policies. We will eventually see them in Germany the longer this continues.
