Elon Musk might be a believer in the kook global warming hoax and has other bizarre ideas, but he recently made some sound statements regarding the ridiculous energy policies that the West has adopted.

He specifically called for the West to increase oil production and to revisit using nuclear power in a bigger way.

For decades the West has crafted energy policies based largely off of the theory that fossil fuel emissions are warming the planet to the point where everyone will burn and die. Musk is a big believer in this theory, but he is not a stupid person and understands that the current geopolitical situation is not sustainable.

He is right about the radiation fears surrounding nuclear power being overstated. Many of those fears were hyped up by oil producers decades ago who saw nuclear power as a threat to their business model.

It should also be obvious more than ever that powering Western countries entirely off of solar panels and windmills is not possible. The West should absolutely be maximizing their oil and gas production while expanding its use of nuclear power. There is no logical reason not to be energy independent.

Of course, we have very stupid people running things and even if they did decide to actually do this, it is probably too late. Especially since these same people are hell-bent on vilifying Russia to advance their insane world government agenda. They also want to keep the global warming/climate change hoax going as a mechanism they can use for population control etc.. but have to put this into the background if they want to start a major war with Russia. It’s the same reason why the virus hoax was pushed into the background. They want the public conscience focused entirely on Russia-Ukraine right now.

It’s all so insane. These people are trying to push too many of their evil agendas at once and this move by Russia has driven them into a panic. They’re just flailing around right now as oil spikes to $130 a barrel. They’d be smart to take Musk’s advice, but I doubt they will take his advice.
