It looks like things in the Magic Kingdom aren’t all that magical right now. Disney has announced that they are laying off 28,000 employees from their theme park business.

The economic news keeps getting worse and I don’t expect things to get better any time soon. The impact of the government shutting down the economy because of the flu hoax is going to have a generational impact.
The hospitality, leisure and travel industries have been destroyed. Disney laying off such an enormous number of employees just reinforces how bad things are.
