Amazon’s new Lord of the Rings series dubbed “The Rings of Power” has been getting poor audience reviews. The reviews have been so poor that they put a three-day pause on review submissions and blamed the poor reviews on racist trolls.

From what I’ve been reading, they unnecessarily turned the Elrond character into a gay homosexual. There’s also a bunch of other “woke” stuff that was inserted into the series that I doubt J.R.R. Tolkien would have approved of. You have the racially diverse cast etc.. and besides the “woke” nonsense, the show itself does not appear to be very good.

All that aside, it is ridiculous for Amazon to ban audience reviews of their product just because a bunch of people did not like it. They can blame racist trolls or whatever for the poor reviews, but it doesn’t discount the fact that it is getting poor reviews.

Instead of blaming the audience for this and calling them names, they should take a deeper look at why their product is getting bad reviews and make suitable adjustments. It’s really weird to see a company that is content to force feed their garbage to people and then prevent people from complaining about the garbage they have fed them. It’s a stupid way to conduct business.

Audiences are just sick of any sort of “woke” political nonsense being unnecessarily inserted into movies and shows. Blocking people from complaining about it is not going to change this fact.
