While there has been all sorts of speculation about Iran directly involving itself in the Israel-Palestine war, there is also the possibility of Turkey involving itself. There have been massive rallies supporting Palestine throughout Turkey that have been encouraged by Erdogan himself.

Colonel Douglas Macgregor who was one of the few former US military officers providing accurate analysis of the Russia-Ukraine war, believes that there is a high probability of Turkey intervening.
Turkish President Erdoğan offered to mediate the Israeli / Hamas conflict.
Really was hoping Washington and if not Israel would have accepted his offer.
He now has set the stage for eventual Turkish military intervention into the the Israeli regional conflict.
Erdoğan is…

He’s also speculated that some sort of anti-Israel military alliance of Arab/Islamic nations could form in response to what’s going on in Gaza.
If the Israeli Defense Force conducts a large ground invasion into Gaza everyone from Indonesia to Moraccco is going to coalesce into a military alliance against Israel.
This includes Turkey which is my greatest concern.

We will just have to see what happens, but there’s no doubt that the recent ground incursion by the Israelis into Gaza has raised the prospect of Turkish involvement.
There was also an incident involving a Turkish drone being shot down by US forces in Syria a little while ago that received little news coverage.
The weird part about all this is that Turkey is a member of the NATO alliance, so any involvement in the Israel-Palestine war would have a variety of geopolitical consequences.
