I don’t get it.
Elon Musk said before that he wanted to turn Twitter into something like China’s WeChat where various things are tied into the single app. This means banking and all sorts of other functions would be part of it.
Here he is talking about how he wants it to become a large part of the global financial system.

If this is the direction he wants to take the company, it would have probably made more sense to make Twitter a component of this so-called “X” umbrella brand instead of totally rebranding Twitter.
I also don’t understand how he plans on mirroring WeChat if he continues with his censorship policies. It means that a certain part of the population will be banned from doing commerce.
There’s also potential legal issues with the rebrand.

I don’t understand what he’s doing here. It is possible the COVID-19 shots he took did something to his brain and he is no longer thinking clearly.
