Tucker Carlson while commenting on Queen Elizabeth II’s death delivered an interesting monologue praising the British Empire.

Carlson makes a number of good points in the monologue. The best general point he made was rejecting the idea that colonialism was universally bad for the world.

Colonialism and the British Empire in particular brought civilization to a large number of places. As it waned in power, the end result has not been good for the former colonies. Many have devolved into a state of chaos and savagery.

For example, when Zimbabwe was Rhodesia, it was objectively a much better and safer place. Nobody can deny this.

Sure, the colonial era was not perfect but looking at what we have now, can anybody say that colonialism was more evil? Colonialism brought Christianity to large parts of the world. Compare this to the ZOG empire where gay anal sex and trannyism are the most popular exports.

Queen Elizabeth II was the last living link to a time when the British Empire still held a significant amount of world influence. But during her reign, the United Kingdom devolved into a shell of its former self. She chose to be polite about it instead of publicly expressing concern with its slow motion collapse.

I disagree with the idea that her role as Queen was purely symbolic. That is how she chose to rule and because she chose to rule in a polite symbolic fashion, the British Empire crumbled.

Either way, this fact is not worth dwelling on. The collapse of the British Empire is just something that happened and we can only move on from it.
