Tucker Carlson appears to be the only major cable news pundit who is legitimately criticizing the decision to assassinate Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. He did a full segment on his show last night trashing the many neocons who have voiced support for this.

Here’s the question.

How much longer is Fox News going to allow Tucker to remain on air?

When the Iraq War broke out in 2003, cable news outlets purged anybody who spoke out against it. Phil Donahue being one notable example. He was fired from MSNBC for his anti-war stance.

Tucker’s show nets high ratings, but if he continues to criticize this military escalation and any subsequent war, it’s very possible that his show will be taken off the air.

He’s the only person offering real criticism. There’s lots of fake criticism on CNN and MSNBC bashing the orange man for not consulting Congress. But none of them are questioning the validity of the operation itself or its long term consequences.
