It looks like the President is getting close to striking a new trade deal with Mexico. Negotiations with Canada haven’t gone very well so it looks like we could see a straight bi-lateral deal with Mexico.
In fact, it doesn’t even look like they’re negotiating with Canada right now. Naturally the CBC which is essentially Canadian state propaganda, is bashing Trump non-stop over this madness. This despite the fact that their leader Justin Trudeau is trying to turn their country into a gay Islamic Republic.
But overall this is good. It shows that the disaster that has been NAFTA is in the process of being fixed. NAFTA was one of the main reasons why good paying jobs were sucked out of the country.
