This is a very sound public policy initiative.
Beauty salons are places where women will spend hours of their time in order to make themselves look more attractive than they actually are. They do this to scam men into sharing their resources with them.
Beauty salons should be banned everywhere. They are a net negative to any society.
I commend the Taliban for reminding us that true beauty is on the inside and not the outside.
