Russia is softening things up before they send in hundreds of thousands of armed men to finish the job.
Barring this confrontation going nuclear, I am not sure how the West can possibly win this conflict. They’re running out of weapons and ammunition to give and their economies are falling apart. Russia has neither of these problems.
