As you are probably already aware, Ottawa police threatened to arrest anybody giving gas or supplies to the truckers.
IMPORTANT: Anyone attempting to bring material supports (gas, etc.) to the demonstrators could be subject to arrest. Enforcement is underway. #ottawa #ottnews pic.twitter.com/tp4e5d2xe1

The plan to have the police steal gas from the truckers has totally failed and only increased support for the protests.
Take a look at these tweets.
After police started seizing fuel from the Freedom Convoy truckers, a row of gas cans has been placed at Parliament Hill.

Amazing moment with some sly tactics. Citizens on foot bring gas cans to the Canadian truckers… but only every third can is full allowing a fun shell game in case they get stopped. pic.twitter.com/jInfxqCWdU

A trucker parked in downtown Ottawa said he knew police would crack down on gas so he filled up his tank which is about 200 gallons and estimates he can idle for 10 days now. pic.twitter.com/wuPUoMStkX

Steve Bell, Ottawa deputy police chief, said that there had also been confrontations with police and there were fears for the health and welfare of children with the truckers. https://t.co/Mz7uM8ySjg

They can’t arrest everyone, plus stealing supplies from people like this is grossly unethical, illegal and a bad look in general.
These people have no serious plan on how to deal with any of this. It’s become painfully obvious that this is the case. We are now over two weeks into these protests and there is no sign of them coming to an end any time soon.
