In Panama some climate change hoax people blocked traffic on the main Panama highway to protest this fake problem. An old American expat boomer-aged guy got fed up with the situation and confronted them with a gun. The protesters didn’t think he had the guts to shoot them and they were wrong. Dead wrong in fact.

Several years ago, I spent a week in Panama and did a road trip across the country. The country has one major road that stretches across it. It is called a highway but it is not a highway like the highways you see in the United States. It is more like a minor state route in the US that has all sorts of corrupt motorcycle cops with radar guns enforcing speed traps. If you block that highway in any section you can cause some serious problems for people so I can totally understand the old man’s frustration.

The clip of the shooting is somewhat funny. The old man shoots two of the protesters and a woman starts screaming like a maniac after he shoots them. It was probably a bit of an overreaction for him to shoot them, but it is what it is.

I don’t feel bad for the climate hoaxers though. They put themselves in this position by pissing a bunch of people off.

Overall, it is just another very weird story that’s reflective of how insane everything has become.
