This is going to spawn more pointless political theater that I don’t care about.
Hopefully the federal government is permanently shut down but it is doubtful that this will happen. They’ll probably cram some bullshit bill through that Kevin McCarthy will pretend to oppose but ultimately agree to approve.
I mean we have seen this time and time again where Republicans act all tough and then get nothing of substance in any of these bills. They then proceed to falsely claim that they negotiated some great deal. I have no reason to believe that this time will be any different.
