Hotel bookings have shrunk considerably from last year.

This is just another sign that the hospitality, travel and leisure industries is in serious trouble.

These hotels can’t sustain themselves with bookings at these levels. This means many people who are employed by these hotels are going to lose their jobs.

Everywhere you look, there is no sign of a v-shaped recovery. If there was a v-shaped recovery, hotel bookings wouldn’t be down by such a significant margin from last year.
