It’s being called the “breakdown tank.”
The Puma vehicle had previously made headlines in the German press as the so-called "Pannenpanzer," or "breakdown tank." https://t.co/YPUjZmtov5

We are seeing more and more stories like this from Western military organizations. The main problem the West has is that they are producing vehicles and equipment that is vastly overengineered and has far too many electronics and computer components in them. This is true in both the military and civilian realms. Having all these complex parts greatly increases the chance of operational issues.
The Russians keep their equipment simple and don’t overengineer things for the sake of overengineering them. This is really what you want for military gear where reliability is more important than anything else.
But when you see stories like this, it really illustrates how Western military power is in a state of collapse. The Puma was supposed to be incorporated into NATO’s rapid response force next year and it isn’t even close to being ready for such a thing.
