It almost feels like the early 2000s again. George W. Bush is all over the news today.
In addition to Bush’s public gaffe describing his invasion of Iraq as unjustified and brutal, a couple of Russian pranksters fooled George W. Bush into thinking he was having a call with the Jew leader of Ukraine Zelensky. Video of the call dropped today.
He said some interesting things about NATO expansion, the Ukraine bioweapons labs and other topics.
Looks like Vovan and Lexus pranked George W. Bush, convincing him he was speaking to Zelensky
"I felt Ukraine needed to be in the EU and NATO," Bush told them, conceding Bush I's Secretary of State Jim Baker promised Gorbachev not to expand NATO, but that it didn't matter now pic.twitter.com/9qHrbCrrMY

Vovan & Lexus played a prank on George W. #Bush. The latter thought he was communicating with Zelensky & told some secrets
"Yes, of course, I remember the Pentagon's program to fund biolaboratories in Ukraine. It's a good thing you evacuated them, you are a smart guy" 1/5 pic.twitter.com/5pphe59DBa

It is a pretty weird glimpse into how world leaders apparently interact with one another. As weird as this interaction was, people like Bush seem to think this type of interaction is very normal.
