If the Saudis begin accepting yuan for oil, this petrodollar system that the United States setup in the 1970s is going to be in big trouble.
It’s clear that the Saudis are irritated with the United States and are trying to detangle themselves from the relationship. I can’t blame them either. Why would they want to be lectured about gay anal sex and other things that are totally alien to their people? It only makes sense that they would want to move closer to China and Russia.
